Topic 4 Basic mathematical operations

Mathematical aspects:

Some of the basic elements for the understanding of any arithmetic operation are the distinction between much and little, duplicating and halving as well as adding and subtracting. The children should learn to calculate thinkingly and reasonably. Thereby, the inner notion of numbers is an important prerequisite that is trained enactively (acting) and narratively (telling). The objective of the second grade is to wholly develop many different ways of calculating by means of written and semi-written methods.
